Due to the current COVID-19 circumstances, staying home and protecting yourself is our number one priority at INFINITI. In line with the latest government communications and guidelines regarding COVID-19 safety, we have advised all our dealers to take every necessary step to protect the health and safety of our customers and employees. As a result, we are extending our support to customers and will provide further vehicle care services for warranty issues arising during the lockdown period.
FAQs related to Manufacturer Warranty during lockdown due to the COVID-19 situation
During the special circumstances and limitations of COVID-19, if you are not able to complete your car service in line with INFINITI’s guidelines, we will honor your remaining warranty on the vehicle.
Please liaise with your local dealer to carry out the required routine service at the earliest opportunity after the curfew lift-off.
Please remember to maintain the engine oil and coolant levels within the normal range. For further details, please refer to your vehicle’s Owner’s Manual.
We are committed to honoring the warranty for vehicles that require warranty repairs and cannot be carried out due to lockdown. Please liaise with your local dealer as soon as possible in order to carry out the required warranty repairs at the earliest opportunity after the curfew lift-off.
Post curfew lift-off, please visit your local dealer for warranty concerns and repairs.
During curfew, please call the nearest dealer and register the issue for repair. We will revert back to you and support after verifying that fault was apparent within the manufacturer warranty period.
We are flexible and will honour valid warranty claims, if it is evident that fault was apparent within manufacturer warranty period. Please visit your local dealer at the earliest opportunity once operations are back to normal.
The cost of required repairs will be covered based on Manufacturer’s contractual warranty policies and procedures.
If you have a red warning light or have a safety concern regarding the vehicle, you should stop using the vehicle immediately and contact your local dealer customer care or INFINITI Middle East customer care for further assistance.
If you have received a repair notification regarding a Recall Campaign, please visit your local dealer, only when it is safe to do so as per local government guidelines, and/or after the curfew is lifted.
If dealer operations remain suspended, please contact the dealer at the next earliest opportunity when operations are back to normal.
