Arabian Automobiles, Flagship company of AW Rostmani Group, the exclusive distributor of Nissan, Infiniti and Renault in Dubai and Northern Emirates, recently celebrated its sixth win at an advertising industry award ceremony for its ‘HouseHunter Test-Drive’ initiative. The campaign was awarded a Grand Prix at the recently concluded Mena Cristal Festival, making it the most awarded automotive campaign in the Middle East over the past 12 months.
The winning insight was to reach out to expatriates looking to find a home in Dubai on the popular website www.dubizzle.com, and help them find the perfect new car in the process. Based on the search for the home or apartment, budget range, selected neighborhood and family size, a suitable Nissan vehicle was recommended with an option to test drive. The ‘HouseHunter Test-Drive’ was conceptualized and developed in partnership with Arabian Automobiles’ creative agency TBWA\RAAD.
“Since test drives are the most effective way to convert prospects into customers, we aimed to reach out to site visitors, offering them vehicles to try that matched their budget and lifestyle according to their house search”, said Salah Yamout, director – Sales & Marketing at Arabian Automobiles. ”With the ‘HouseHunter Test-Drive’ campaign we managed to surpass our initial goal considerably. With 1,206 test drives booked over the three week campaign period across seven Nissan models, the results simply speak for themselves.”
